The question is often asked - what makes hard wax oil different from other products, and what processing sequence to choose.
Hard wax oil is an excellent choice for wooden plank or parquet floors, as it combines the deep absorption of oil with the surface protection of wax, ensuring high wear resistance andmmoisture resistance. Oiled floors feel the softest and most pleasant. Unlike varnish, which forms a hard film on the surface of wood, hard wax oil absorbs into the wood and preserves its natural "breathing". This prevents the risk of cracking and peeling caused by the movement of the wood as a result of changes in humidity and temperature.
Selection of the "Paint Eco" product for floor treatment by assessing the floor surface load:
-
Low- (walls, ceilings, crafts or low-occupancy furniture.)
Apply one coat of colorless or tinted hard wax oil. After time, wax for wooden
surfaces is used to refresh the surface. Crafts can be waxed after the oil has dried. -
Medium- (floors in the bedroom, nursery and medium-duty furniture.)
Apply two coats of hard wax oil. After about a week, wax for wooden surfaces is
poured into the floor. During operation, the wax layer is renewed as needed. -
High- (floors in public spaces, kitchens, hallways, stairs and furniture surfaces with high traffic.)
In the first layer, apply colorless or tinted hard wax oil. The second layer of hard wax coating - finish. When the second layer is dry, wax for wooden surfaces is poured onto the surface. Restores the wax layer during operation.
Recommendation! Before tinting the floor, you do a test color to see more precisely how the prepared floor or parquet boards are tinted.
