Tinted hard wax oil for interior work. Suitable for tinting floors, walls, ceilings and furniture. Easy to use, because it spreads easily and creates an even, even tint in one or two layers. Natural mineral pigments are used, there are no harmful fumes.
Important to follow to achieve a great result:
1) MAKE PLANS!
2) WIPE OFF EXCESS OIL!
3) ALLOW THE ROUNDS TO DRY!
3 MAIN PRINCIPLES WHEN WORKING WITH HARD WAX OIL:
- APPLY THINLY – apply hard wax oil as thinly as possible – rubbing it gently into the surface of the wood with a brush or roller.
- WIPE THE EXCESS – this is important! When the hard wax oil has absorbed into the surface (20-30 min), carefully wipe off the excess oil using paper napkins or a cotton cloth. The surface should be almost dry to the touch. In no case do not allow excess oil to dry on the surface. Otherwise, the coating may be sticky and take a long time to dry.
- LET THE COATS DRY – If you want a more intense tint, apply a second coat. But first make sure that the first layer is completely dry.
Surface preparation: The wood must be clean and dry. The surface must be completely cleaned of the residues of previously applied chemical paints. We recommend to carry out the work from +10 ̊C – +25 ̊C.
Application: for walls, ceilings, floors, furniture, cork, etc.
Progress of work: The surface to be lubricated is divided into sectors. If necessary, dilute the product with turpentine or white spirit 5-10%. To obtain a high-quality coating, apply 1-2 thin layers of oil, taking into account the wood’s ability to absorb. Apply the oil as thinly and evenly as possible. After application, allow the product to absorb for 15-20 min., the excess oil, which has not been absorbed into the surface, is carefully wiped with paper napkins, a lint-free cloth or incorporated with a polishing disc. At least 24 hours should pass before applying the second layer. For the second layer, the work process is identical to the first layer. After removing the oil residues, make sure that the oil has been completely absorbed into the wood, and it feels dry to the touch. Excess oil must not be allowed to dry on the surface, as it can create shiny spots. If the surface needs to be more wear-resistant, apply tinted Hard wax oil in the first layer and Hard wax coating “Finish” in the second layer.
Attention! In the first week, it is recommended not to wash the floor, not to put carpets on the floor.
Consumption: Pine / spruce ~15 – 18 m2/L. Hardwood (oak/ ash) ~35 -40 m2/L. These measurements are indicative. Your consumption may differ from our instructions.
Drying time: 18 – 24 hours at temp. +20 (± 2 ) ̊C. Lower temperatures, humid air and wood prolong the drying time.
Cleaning tools: We recommend washing with natural turpentine or warm water and soap.
Storage: Keep buckets tightly closed. Keep away from sources of ignition. The minimum temperature is +5 ̊C. Validity period – 3 years. See the expiration date on the package. Permissible volume weight shift +/- 10 gr.
WARNING! Materials impregnated with oil can spontaneously combust! After finishing work, they must be placed in a container with water! Used brushes and work clothes must not be near an open flame. Do not allow the product to enter groundwater or soil, and keep out of the reach of children.
